MATTHEW L. KETCHAM

Matthew L. Ketcham is a law clerk pending bar admission with the Peet Law Group. He was born and raised in Vermont. He is a 2016 graduate of the University of North Carolina Asheville. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California Irvine School of Law in 2021. During law school, Matthew interned for the UC Irvine Consumer Law Clinic and International Justice Clinic. He was the real estate development coordinator for Evernorth, an affordable housing developer.

In 2024, Matthew received his LL.M. in Taxation from the UC Irvine School of Law. He externed for the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at the Public Law Center. He is a board member of Lake Champlain Access Television.

Matthew joined the Peet Law Group in May 2025.

Eric G. Derry is an owner of the Peet Law Group. He is a third-generation Vermonter and a graduate of both the University of Vermont and Vermont Law School. While in law school, Eric interned with the firm as well as with the Office of the Defender General.

Upon graduating from law school in 2008, Eric joined a small but prominent general practice firm in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where he served clients on both sides of the Connecticut River Valley. In 2012, he returned to the Chittenden County area and joined a municipal law firm where his practice focused largely on land use matters.

Eric then joined the firm in 2019. He resides in Burlington with his wife and two children. Eric is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and is an agent for the Vermont Attorneys Title Corporation.
